Ginelle wanted a product that would protect babies in situations like that. And so, Cool Wazoo was born – a multi-tasking accessory to make parents’ lives easier and keep babies comfortable.

In Season 4 of Shark Tank, Ginelle Mills pitched her Cool Wazoo product to the Sharks. She was seeking an investment of $65,000 in exchange for 25% of her company. At the time, Ginelle had faced some challenges, like manufacturing defects that ruined a big chunk of her inventory. She had some great press from shows like The Today Show and The Doctors, but sales were slower than she had hoped.

In the end, the deal with Lori didn’t go through after the show. But that didn’t stop Ginelle. She kept selling Cool Wazoo on her website. Later, she licensed the product to a company called Kids 2. They sold it as “Comfort and Harmony” in Babies R Us stores, helping the product reach even more parents and babies.

More recently, Ginelle launched a new business called Box Partie. It’s a virtual baby shower service that she started in 2020. Kevin O’Leary, known as “Mr. Wonderful,” didn’t make an offer. But he did remark that Cool Wazoo solved a real problem for parents. He thought the product had good sales potential, especially with the right retail partnerships.

Cool Wazoo Current Status

Where is Cool Wazoo now, a few years after Shark Tank? Business is booming! Ginelle landed a licensing deal with juvenile products company Kids 2, Inc. This partnership got Cool Wazoo into Babies R’ Us stores across the country.

Ginelle also expanded her product line beyond the original Cool Wazoo cover. She added new items like bibs and car seat covers. Recently, she even launched a virtual baby shower service called Box Parties.
